Ahmed Taher, Abouzid Chairman & CEO
Ahmed Taher obtained both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cairo University. Prior to founding Power House in 1993, he held different positions at Mantrac (Authorized Caterpillar dealer in Egypt) in Technical Field Service and Sales. Together with the different teams at Power House, Ahmed has layed the foundation for a very strong and ambitious company that is set to further grow and become a regional and worldwide player in power generation, pumping solutions and electromechanical contracting, always focused on efficiency and on achieving highest cost-savings and quickest lead times for clients.
Ramy Abdelaziz, General Manager
Ramy Abdelaziz graduated from the Petroleum Engineering Department at Cairo University in 1998. With over 26 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Ramy has held several executive management roles in multinational companies across the Middle East and Africa, consistently delivering outstanding results. Renowned for his expertise in developing and managing businesses in diverse markets, he has excelled at expanding business volume and building high-performing, customer-focused organizations. His most recent role was Vice President at Borets International, overseeing operations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, and Libya.
Amr Nasr, Head of Finance
Amr Nasr graduated from the Faculty of Commerce – English Section at Alexandria University in 2007 and has 18 years of experience in accounting, finance, and executive management across various sectors. His leadership skills have enabled him to contribute to the establishment of companies and their different departments, in addition to setting up finance departments from scratch multiple times. He has extensive expertise in financial analysis and modeling, with a strong track record in strategic planning and financial control. Amr is committed to transforming financial strategies into operational success, driving companies toward achieving both short- and long-term financial goals.
Ramy Bassiouny, Head of Oil and Gas sales
Ramy Bassiouny graduated with a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Cairo University. With over 25 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, he has excelled in leadership roles focused on sales and business development. Having worked with leading international companies across the MENA region, Ramy has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that address industry challenges. As the Sales Director for Power House, he leads a highly skilled team, driving initiatives that will help the company expand its reach to international markets.
Hesham Ezzat, Head of Contracts and Commercial
Hesham Ezzat graduated from the Mechanical Design and Production Engineering Department at Cairo University in 2009. With over 16 years of experience in engineering, project management, and business development, he is passionate about driving innovation, operational excellence, and growth within the oil & gas and industrial sectors. His expertise spans the entire project lifecycle—from tendering and contracting to engineering execution—ensuring maximum efficiency, cost control, and client satisfaction.
Omar Abouzid, Business Excellence Director
Omar holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Bioengineering from the National Institute for Applied Sciences of Lyon (France). Coming from a Research & Development background, Omar is keen about operational excellence and efficiency and is keen on taking his family business to the next step.
