Bi-Fuel Engine Conversion (Flare Gas/Diesel) – Agiba Petroleum Company

This project involved the deployment of a Bi-Fuel Conversion System for Agiba Petroleum Company at the Faras site, supporting their remote oilfield operations. Between 2010 and 2012, Power House Egypt delivered a robust 1.25 MVA gas/diesel bi-fuel solution engineered to reduce reliance on diesel fuel, lower operational costs, and ensure continuous power availability in demanding field conditions.

The system was customized to integrate seamlessly with Agiba’s existing power infrastructure, improving overall generator efficiency and extending engine lifetime. By enabling the use of both natural gas and diesel simultaneously, the upgrade provided enhanced fuel flexibility, improved emissions performance, and higher long-term reliability.
